]]>Oskarish was a part of Anonymo in 2022 but was unable to extend his contract with the organization after a poor performance in the last few months of the year. Rather, he teamed up with other Anonymo players like mwlky and Vegi as well as the team’s former backroom staff, including manager Radek “Jahrez” Borcuch.
Asides from the trio, other players on the new team include Rasmus “kreaz” Johansson and Zoran “?xicoz?” Markovski. The duo played for Finest and BLUEJAYS, respectively, before the teams disbanded months ago.
Kreaz reached a 1.05 average rating during his stint with Finest, while xicoz averaged 1.03 in BLUEJAYS. The North Macedonian player was notably part of the BLUEJAYS lineup to win the IESF World Championship 2022.
Polish pro Adrian “imd” Pieper, who worked with Anonymo, Illuminar, and x-kom was announced as head coach with Damian “xo” Go?embiewski in the assistant coaching position.
Via Twitter, Gentlefolk announced they were searching for an organisation to take on the team to enable them to compete in CS:GO events.
“The Gentlefolk project moves on to its next phase! We are currently looking for a place in which to continue our journey as a legitimate CS:GO team,” the post read.
Most of Gentlefolk is made of staff and players that were part of Anonymo before the organization decided to disband their CS:GO lineup. The decision to disband was made after the team failed to qualify for the Paris Major RMRs. After the organization dissolved, the players continued posting together for a while and participated in the ESEA Advanced Season 44 as ODLOTOWE AGENTKI.
“After parting ways with Anonymo, we wanted to create a younger project that could still compete on the Polish scene, but also internationally,” Gentlefolk explained.
“By opening up to the European market, our prospects for the build expanded significantly. The training looked optimistic enough for everyone that we decided to play together despite the lack of support from any organization.”
It is not currently known when Gentlefolk will debut, but they need sponsorships from a bigger outfit, to enable them to play in the international CS:GO scene soon.

]]>“We would like to inform you that our CS:GO team has decided to end playing together in Anonymo,” the translation of the tweet read.
“Thus, each player can look for new options, and we will keep our fingers crossed for the next steps in their careers. Gentlemen, thank you for writing an emotional story.”
After the organization officially announced the disbandment, Pawe? “?innocent?” Mocek and Grzegorz “?SZPERO?” Dziama?ek provided fans with more insight into the decision in TwitLongers.
According to ?ukasz “?mwlky?” Pachucki and other players, failing to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR was the major reason for the organization’s decision. In his follow-up tweet after the announcement, innocent revealed that the entire period drained him, and he wanted time away to rest.
“I really need some time to cool off. This period of time really drained a lot of my mental health, but with [the] correct opportunity I will just shake it off and get back to the server,” innocent wrote.
In his TwitLonger, SZPERO disclosed that he did not join the team at the best time but was aware of what he was getting into. He also said several factors led to their poor performance at the RMR, including the absence of a coaching staff.
“I joined the team at a very difficult time, but I knew what I was signing up for. The goal was to improve our game and be ready for [the] RMR and then decide what to do next. We played this tournament better than everything else, but we were not satisfied with our performance in any way,” SZPERO wrote.
“[Other than] that, there were other factors, such as the departure of the coaching staff. The only thing I can write is that despite not the best results – playing with the boys gave me fun, which I didn’t experience recently. I could fully trust them all and they are just super homies.”
The team also included Patryk “?Demho?” Tomaszewski, Arek “?Vegi?” Nawojski, and Adrian “?imd?” Pieper as head coach.
Prior to the disbandment, Anonymo’s core had been together for more than one year. Innocent had the longest stint with the organization, joining Anonymo a little over two years ago.
SZPERO was the most recent addition to the team and was signed at the start of January. He played with Anonymo in a number of European Development Championship events before their attempt to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR.
Within the time the squad was together, it competed in several online events and three major offline tournaments. Anonymo earned a championship title at the Gdansk Games 2021 and missed out on qualifying for the PGL Major Antwerp through the Europe RMR by a slim margin.
The BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR saw Anonymo struggle through the open qualifiers before they were eliminated in the closed qualifier. They ended their run with a 1-3 record which featured close losses.

?Anonymo Esports enter this match with a 1-1 record and 78-73 goal differential. Sprout are 0-1 with a 0-2 loss to Endpoint.
Anonymo hold onto a 46.6% win rate across the last three months, and they are 1-4 across their last five outings. However, the Poles deserve some slack since they had to face though opponents at Flashpoint Season 3, where they lost to Ninjas in Pyjamas (1-2), Double Poney (1-2), Complexity (0-2), and their next opponents, Sprout (1-2).
That win improved Sprout’s head-to-head record to 2-1, but it wasn’t a convincing victory. The Germans took the series lead with 16-13 on Inferno but failed to close out the deal on Nuke, where Anonymo claimed a 22-19 overtime victory. The last map (Vertigo) ended in another OT thanks to Anonymo’s 10-4 run on the CT-side, but they fell short and lost 1-4.
Given how close their last meeting was, it’s more than fair to say we’re in for another tight affair. You can’t go wrong with a bet on overs, nor would it be too optimistic to side with Anonymo to secure a revenge victory on Tuesday.
