LONDON SPITFIRE vs FLORIDA MAYHEM OWL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | Spitfire $2.75 at GG Bet | Mayhem $1.40 at GG Bet |
When: | June 16, 2022 | 15:00 PDT |
Watch Live: | Twitch, YouTube |
London Spitfire were expected to struggle this season, but even though they’re by no means exceptional, the Spitfire have surpassed our expectations. William “SparkR” Andersson and co. are 3-3 on the season, and they even picked up a win against Atlanta Reign at the end of May.
There is still room for improvement, but the Spitfire have a solid upside, so if the meta shifts their way, we could be seeing a lot more from this squad. Their next opponents, Florida Mayhem, are 4-2 with a +7 map difference, which puts them close to the top of the Overwatch League standings.
Although not as strong as San Fransisco Shock, Dallas Fuel, and Los Angeles Gladiators, Florida Mayhem are not too far behind. Perhaps their only weakness is lack of experience, but overall, Mayhem is a strong team that should do well as the season progresses.
It will be interesting to see how these two teams develop, and even though both have strong potential, we like Florida Mayhem better. They have looked more consistent, and as long as they can avoid making critical errors, the Mayhem should close this game out without dropping more than a map.

SAN FRANCISCO SHOCK vs DALLAS FUEL OWL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | Shock $2.20 at GG Bet | Fuel $1.61 at GG Bet |
When: | June 16, 2022 | 16:30 PDT |
Watch Live: | Twitch, YouTube |
Even though San Fransisco Shock lead the OWL West standings (6-0), they enter this match as $2.20 underdogs, which is fair. The Shock have immense potential, but this is still a roster filled with rookies, which explains why they got smashed a couple of times during the Kickoff Clash.
Still, Shock should emerge as serious title contenders once they find the right rhythm. On the other side, we have Dallas Fuel, who are just as talented but also more experienced.
The Fuel stomped San Fransisco Shock (3-0) in the Kickoff Clash semi-finals just over a week ago, which alone is enough for us to consider them as the stronger team for this match. Admittedly, they’re not perfect and can be a bit inconsistent, but when Dallas Fuel get it rolling, they look unstoppable.
We don’t expect another 3-0 for Dallas Fuel, but at $2.37, they’re an appealing bet with a -1.5 map handicap.
