?LGD Gaming and Anyone’s Legend will chase their first victory on Friday after the two Chinese esports teams failed to leave a mark over the season’s opening two weeks. LGD Gaming hare 0-2 with defeats against Rare Atom (1-2) and Oh My God (0-2), whereas Anyone’s Legend are three games down with losses against Invictus Gaming (0-2), Top Esports (0-2), and Ultra Prime (1-2).
Anyone’s Legend had a tougher schedule, but that’s no excuse for their poor record. However, Anyone’s Legend is still a more stacked roster, so the offered LoL betting odds don’t look too out of line.
LGD Gaming have yet to show anything that would lead us to believe they can win without counting on Anyone’s Legend to underperform. So as much as we can doubt Anyone’s Legend and criticise their performances this season, they’re still a tier above LGD Gaming, and at this price, they’re a solid bet.
Anyone’s Legend to win

Ultra Prime picked up their first victory on Tuesday when they beat Anyone’s Legend (2-1). On the other side, FunPlus Phoenix are still chasing their first win, following two 1-2 defeats against Team WE and Bilibili Gaming.
FunPlus Phoenix had to face stronger teams over the first two weeks of LPL 2023 Spring, and they won a map against both, which is admirable. But that’s not a reason enough to see them as favourites for this bout.
Talent-wise, Ultra Prime and FunPlus Phoenix are fairly equal. We would rank FPX a bit higher, but not high enough to justify taking them at $1.68. They’re a more prominent name, which might explain the esports bookmakers’ offer.
We don’t want to oversell how good Ultra Prime are, because they’re not very strong, but UP are not that much weaker than FunPlus Phoenix. So anything above even money on the outsiders is a good bet.
