BUFF.bet is one of the best esports betting sites available, offering bettors several other options including regular sports and casino betting.
However, while they promise to continue providing the same great service, they go by a new name now – Galaxy.bet.
A rebrand was the least expected thing from fans, who did not notice any signs to that effect. The change is shocking, especially since the brand recently underwent a change.
In 2018, BUFF88 was rebranded to BUFF.bet, which is the name the platform has maintained despite undergoing another merger in 2020.
They acquired eSporbet (not to be confused with this publication www.max-mtm.com) in 2020, a platform whose primary focus was the EMEA region. Since then, they have continued to grow in the esports industry and provided more value to esports bettors and will continue to do so, even under a different name.
After the acquisition, Daniel Miller, the CEO of XB Systems – the managers of BUFF.bet – said “With the ever-increasing demand of the esports betting vertical, we have been looking to make another successful business partnership.
“eSporbet is the right choice holding a growing opportunity for us.
“It’s already attracting a massive audience of esports users, who will definitely enjoy betting on BUFF.bet with its modern and easy-to-use interface as well as the unrivaled esports options.”
It seems like the platform has continued to expand, with the latest rebranding as proof. They announced the change on Twitter, with Galaxy.bet explaining the latest development to fans and visitors.
“We are pleased to inform you that from 5 April, BUFF.bet is a newly revamped website under the name Galaxy.bet – a galaxy of new opportunities for betting on casino slots, live dealers casino, and virtual sports, esports, and sports.”
As of the time of writing, any attempt to access BUFF.bet would automatically load a pop-up message redirecting you to Galaxy.bet. While fans would continue to enjoy the same amazing service, it would be under a new platform.
What should fans expect from Galaxy.bet?
Based on the feel of the new site, not much difference should be expected. Although they have moved to a new platform, they continue to provide the same services and features fans fell in love with at BUFF.bet.
On Galaxy.bet, bettors can still take advantage of the massive range of payment methods available.
Traditionally, bettors can fund their esports betting accounts using debit/credit cards like Mastercard or Visa. They could also take advantage of e-wallets like Neteller and Skrill.
Perhaps the most exciting medium, which shows innovation and growth is the use of cryptocurrencies.
Most traditional bookmakers limit the markets bettors can wager on, with odds available for only the mainstream esports like CS:GO, Dota 2, League of Legends, and Valorant.
However, Galaxy.bet embraces a wider range of betting markets. Titles like Rainbow Six, Rocket League, King of Glory, FIFA, and more are available for bettors to wager on.
As a bonus, they offer live streaming services to some of the games. With that, bettors will have better luck placing in-play bets.
Also, betting is completely legal as the brand is regulated and licensed by the Government of Curacao.
