After hitting all five of our esports betting predictions for Saturday to secure 4.81 units of profit, ESB returns with another set of best bets and odds for Tuesday. Today we turn our attention to the opening round of BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Showdown and two Dota 2 fixtures in the EPIC League.
BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Showdown

Complexity enter this match as heavy favourites to defeat Sprout for the fourth time this year, and we don’t see a problem with that. Although Sprout are by no means a bad team, they don’t come off as a side that will do well against Complexity.
Sprout often flourish when facing weaker teams, but they consistently underperform against tougher opponents. They lost to North (0-2) and Team Spirit (1-2) at the start of the month, which makes it hard to believe Timo “Spiidi” Richter and co. will stand a chance against the surging Complexity.

TEAM SPIRIT vs VIRTUS.PRO CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

CS:GO Betting Odds: | Spirit $2.08 at GG Bet | VP $1.76 at GG Bet |

While Virtus.pro might be the stronger in the matchup, we feel like the betting odds should be much closer. That is largely because regional CIS derbies like this one usually produce very close affairs.
Since June, Virtus.pro and Team Spirit have played three best-of-three series, two of which ended with all three maps played. The only exception was their most recent meeting at WePlay! Clutch Island, where Spirit won 2-0, but even there VP managed to win 27 rounds. We’re taking the overs on this one.

ISURUS vs FURIA CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

With all due respect to Isurus and their achievements this year, they can’t compare to FURIA. The Brazilians sit at no.7 in the CS:GO world rankings and no.1 in North America, whereas Isurus are ranked only 82nd in the world.
Even though this game will be played online, the quality gap is too massive for us to expect any surprises. Expect FURIA to start the series strong and keep Isurus below double digits on the opening map.

WINSTRIKE TEAM vs YELLOW SUBMARINE DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | Winstrike $6.15 at GG Bet | YeS $1.10 at GG Bet |
When: | November 24, 2020 at 13:00 CET |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/team/epicenter) |
Yellow Submarine are on a four-game winning streak that includes wins against Cyberium, Nemiga Gaming, Live to Win and Ninjas in Pyjamas. They also beat Winstrike team 2-1 during the Motivation Cup at the start of the month, but that does not justify the surprisingly high odds offered on the underdogs.
Winstrike’s 5-6 record across November does not inspire much confidence, but they have won at least one map in all but three of their matches during that run – including their most recent meeting with YeS. Given the lopsided odds, there is serious value in backing the outsiders to get on the board.

GAMBIT ESPORTS vs LIVE TO WIN DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Dota 2 Betting Odds: | Gambit $2.38 at GG Bet | LtW $1.54 at GG Bet |
When: | November 24, 2020 at 19:00 CET |

Gambit Esports returned to the competitive Dota2 scene at the start of November and have since put together a solid 3-2 record. They have beaten Team Unique, Cyberium, and Winstrike, losing only to mudgolems and Tempo Esports.
Live to Win entered the scene at the same time as Gambit’s new roster. They have since played 13 games and won seven, losing to only three different teams: mudgolems (twice), Yellow Submarine (thrice) and Vikin.gg.
On paper, Live to Win look better, but we are not ready to believe they’re much stronger than Gambit, largely because they lost to teams of similar quality. Anton “yy” Shkredov and co. have shown enough for us to believe they can win one map and keep the series close.
